Organization
This getting the scraps organized is taking so long. Didn't realize that I had so much. Now getting it cut down to size is the task. Everything is separated by color. Now I have to cut down to squares, bricks or strips. I have emptied some of the plastic bins that I had the scraps in and made them into bins holding squares. I've decided to cut up the squares first, so I have plastic bins for 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2", 3 1/2, 4", 4 1/2" and 5" squares. I am doing one color at a time. Hopefully I will have this done before Bonnie posts the last clue for the Orange Crush mystery, lol. Keep the piece.

Hey Renee! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'll try to write up the instructions for the log cabin quilt and send them to you. I really was winging it when I did it. I used 1 1/2 inch stips and made them 9 inch squares. I've got a busy week but maybe over the weekend I can get them to you. When you're organizing those scraps pick out the colors you would want for your quilt! Thanks for the comment, Jenni (gingerquilts)
Hi Renee,
Love your blog. I don't know if I'll ever have time to go through all my scrapes It will probably be one project at a time. Wish you the best during Passover we will all have the problems worked out by the time you get back. Hugs.
Hello Renee, I tried to email you but it bounced back. Have fun shopping for the new machine. I bought a new machine last year as a retirement present for myself, but it was before I started quilting and was only thinking of dress making, so it's not ideal for quilting. So I'm starting to save up for one with more useful features.
